Join me for an unforgettable 4-day journey through the Scottish Highlands, where breathtaking landscapes, historic landmarks, and hidden gems await. As your personal guide and driver, I will take you to each location in my 7-seater Volkswagen Sharan, ensuring a comfortable and immersive experience from start to finish.

Starting with a pick-up in Glasgow City Centre, we’ll explore stunning lochs, dramatic glens, ancient castles, and picturesque villages. Along the way, I’ll share fascinating insights into Scotland’s rich history, folklore, and culture. From the awe-inspiring Glencoe to the mystical Loch Ness, each day is carefully planned to make the most of our time in this spectacular country.

This tour offers a small-group, personalized experience, with flexibility for spontaneous stops, scenic detours, and plenty of time to soak in the beauty of Scotland. Let me know if you'd like any further refinements! 

Important Information: All attraction entrance fees and whisky tour is included within the price. Accommodation and meals are not included in the tour price. However, I will advise on great places to stay along the route, ensuring you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay each night.

Day 1

 Exploring Loch Lomond & Glencoe

  • Luss – Picturesque conservation village on the shores of Loch Lomond

  • Falls of Falloch – Stunning waterfall set in a scenic woodland setting.

  • Rannoch Moor – Vast, atmospheric moorland offering breathtaking views.

  • Glen Coe – Iconic glen known for its dramatic landscapes and rich history.

  • Glencoe Visitor Centre – Insightful exhibits on the area's natural and cultural heritage

  • Glencoe Lochan – Tranquil woodland walk with spectacular reflections of the surrounding peaks.

  • St Conan’s Kirk – Unique and architecturally stunning church on the banks of Loch Awe

  • Kilchurn Castle – Ruined 15th-century castle with picturesque lochside views

  • Loch Lomond – Scotland’s largest freshwater loch, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

Castles, Viaducts & the West Coast

  • Glenfinnan Viaduct – Famous for its appearance in Harry Potter, offering stunning railway views.

  • Spean Bridge – Historic village with a significant wartime memorial

  • Loch Cluanie & Glenshiel – Scenic highland lochs and mountain passes

  • Eilean Donan Castle – One of Scotland’s most iconic castles, set on its own island.

  • Plockton – Charming coastal village known for its palm trees and stunning waterfront views.

  • Torridon – Remote and rugged beauty, home to some of Scotland’s most dramatic mountain landscapes

The North Coast & Loch Ness

  • Shieldaig – Idyllic fishing village with panoramic sea views

  • Applecross – Remote coastal beauty, accessible via a spectacular mountain pass

  • Bealach Na Bà – One of Scotland’s most breathtaking and challenging mountain roads

  • Loch Ness – Home of the legendary Nessie, 

  • Urquhart Castle – Historic ruins overlooking Loch Ness, steeped in dramatic history.

  • Inverness – The capital of the Highlands, offering a mix of historic and modern attractions.

Day 4

History, Whisky & Natural Beauty

  • Culloden Battlefield – Site of the last Jacobite uprising, with a visitor centre and immersive exhibits

  • Whisky Distillery – Guided tour and tasting at one of Scotland’s renowned distilleries.

  • Highland Folk Museum – Open-air Museum showcasing Highland life through the centuries.

  • Ruthven Barracks – Historic military ruins with commanding views over the Highlands

  • Pitlochry – Charming Victorian town, famous for its scenic setting and hospitality

  • The Hermitage – Enchanting woodland walk with waterfalls and towering Douglas firs.
